The first coin was minted in the time of the Lydian King Croesus, from electrum — a gold-and-silver alloy — in a bean shape. Once invented in the Lydian Kingdom, the coin spread quickly beyond Asia Minor to the lands around the Mediterranean. In honour of the region's historical importance, we invite you to mint a coin and feel like a Lydian king. We're afraid we can't share the tips and the secret recipe for keeping your very first coin — and getting rich — until you come to Lydia Park Nature… allow us that much!
